Hailey Garza is a Lighting Designer currently studying at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama. Having only been a theatre artist for 5 years (through a pandemic of all things) she is eager to learn as much as she possibly can, develop the hard and soft skills required to be a lighting designer, and ready to take on whatever comes her way.

Hailey has now worked as a Lighting Designer, Assistant Lighting Designer, Master Electrician, Assistant Master Electrician, Programmer, and Lighting Technician. She also enjoys being a freelance photographer in her spare time.

Raised in Buckeye, Arizona (yes, it is very hot), Hailey didn't get much a chance to be exposed to much theatre before heading to Pittsburgh for college. Now in Pittsburgh, she enjoys watching the snow fall from the sky in the winter, and more importantly, taking in the art scene around her and basking in the beautiful work her peers and mentors create. In the future, Hailey would like to be based in New York City and work as a freelance Lighting Designer.

Upcoming work includes:
The Jungle Book (July 2025)- Lighting Designer
Secret Garden (July 2025)- Lighting Designer
